About the Conference (Post-Event)
The International Forum of Global Advances in Sustainable Environment, Energy, and Earth Sciences (GASES 2025) successfully brought together a diverse community of researchers, scientists, industry practitioners, and policymakers committed to advancing sustainable solutions. Held in Baghdad on 13–14 May 2025, the forum served as a dynamic platform for sharing outcomes from ongoing research, technology pilots, and policy initiatives that address pressing environmental and societal challenges.
Across two days, participants exchanged results and best practices spanning environmental protection, resilient energy systems, and Earth-systems analysis. The program featured keynote lectures, themed technical sessions, and focused discussions that emphasized translational value—bridging laboratory findings and field applications with decision-making needs in cities and regions. Cross-cutting discussions highlighted the roles of GIS and remote sensing, data-driven monitoring, and integrated planning in enabling climate adaptation, sustainable resource use, and infrastructure modernization.
In total, 65 participants from 7 countries—including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, and Singapore—contributed to the exchange. Presentations demonstrated measurable progress in areas such as water-quality assessment, renewable-energy siting, soil and agroecological risk evaluation, and urban sustainability. By convening experts from academia, government, and industry, GASES 2025 reinforced the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge transfer. The forum concluded with clear directions for future cooperation, emphasizing open data, scalable tools, and partnerships capable of accelerating climate-resilient development in rapidly changing environments.
